Intern - Accounting

Our Summer Intern program gives students an opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience, exposure to key leaders, group projects, time to build relationships with other Interns, and so much more!

Opportunity:  

The selected student will support AP with invoice entry, scanning documents in open text, daily sales and shipments, credit card/expense report processing. 

Specific Responsibilities:  

• Assisting our Accounts Payable Department
• Assist in implementing a new Financial Planning & Analysis software including validating historical data, recreating our existing reporting, and developing our future forecasting and planning processes. 
• Updating forecast and plan files 
• Other related projects as necessary

Interviews will take place September - October. The internship will start end of October/early November on a part-time basis and can change to full-time hours during summer. The position will end or be re-evaluated end of August 2027.   

Skills & Qualifications: 

*Currently in college pursuing an undergrad degree Accounting or other related area.  May consider a new graduate looking for an intern post-graduation. 

*Skilled with MS Office products (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

*Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate to all levels of the organization. 

*Organized and detail-oriented, able to prioritize tasks and work against deadlines. 

*Ability to work independently, stay focused yet able to multitask between projects.
