The Customer Service Specialist-Contract Molding Services will provide customer support and order service both internally and externally within the division. The incumbent will manage
customer expectations throughout the order process, ensuring customer
satisfaction and maintaining the interests of the company. This role will provide
support to manufacturer representatives, sales managers, and account managers
as required. The incumbent will also manage tactical engagement with assigned
accounts, ensuring timely communication and seamless supply chain delivery. Specific Responsibilities:
*Answer customer questions regarding products, pricing, terms, lead-time, shipping, samples and service parts.
*Answer technical questions and submit Bill of Materials (BOM), Product Change Requests (PCRs), and New Product Development (NPD) activities as assigned.
*Actively participate in meetings to remain informed of current developments and to communicate customer concerns to the rest of the staff.
*Develop and maintain a broad contact base within each customer to facilitate a smooth order process, including purchasing, engineering, product development, quality, and other customer departments as needed.
*Process new customer orders, revise and/or expedite current orders as necessary and communicate all changes in the order process to the customer.
*Provide quotes or updated quotes for service parts, as directed.
*Develop a working knowledge and be able to communicate that product line knowledge to the customer.
*Establish and maintain customer files to include quotes, NAFTA agreements and shipping requirements.
*Work closely with Scheduling, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality and Shipping to ensure in time, complete and error free shipping.
*Administer support to Account Managers and Sales Managers as needed including Excel spreadsheets, letters, etc.
*Arrange shipments from off-site warehouses for customers.
*Ensure that there is adequate inventory at off-site warehouse for customer orders.
*Facilitate shipping requests for samples.
*Coordinate Returned Goods Authorization (RGA's) with customers and follow-up internally for corrective action response to customers.
*Other duties and tasks as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
*High School diploma or equivalent.
*Minimum 3 years of direct customer service experience, or equivalent.
*Ability to interact professional with a wide variety of customers.
*Solid communication skills, both written and verbal.
*Rigorous attention to detail.
*Extremely organized.
*Ability to handle multiple responsibilities with minimal direct supervision and competing deadlines, times, and project management skills.
*Solid computer skills in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Power Point) and previous Information System experience.
*Strong problem solving and decision making abilities to resolve conflicts and issues to the satisfaction of both the customer and the company.
*Minimal travel to customers may be required on an as needed basis.
*Ability to work in a team environment.
